Aaron F. Davidson was born on March 26, 1936 in Indianola , OK to Lonnie & Ruthie ( Graves ) Davidson and was raised by Ollie & Ruthie Owens . He died Thurs, Feb. 16, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center , Concordia at the age of 75. He graduated from high school in Savanna, OK. He joined the US Army and served for 2 years before returning to school and then transferring to the US Air Force and served for 9 years from 1954-1963. He married Carolyn Cote on 8-9-1958 in Concordia , KS . He worked for Quartzite Stone Co. & Boogaarts warehouse in construction. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, Concordia , KS ; sons, Dennis Davidson & Jennifer Carper, Ft. Worth, TX & Douglas Davidson & wife Michelle, Wamego, KS; daughters, Debra Lewis & husband Richard, Manhattan, KS, Denise Smith & husband Charles, Topeka, KS & Deanna Swihart & husband Brad, Concordia, KS & grandchildren, Justin Lewis & wife Emily, Des Moines, IA, Eric Strait, LA, CA, Amanda Strait, Manhattan, KS, Ashley Smith, Topeka, KS & Aaron & Katlynne Davidson, Wamego, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents & grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM, Sat., Feb. 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. The casket will remain closed and friends may call from 9 AM to 9 PM with a Vigil service at 6:30 PM, Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial with military honors by Ft. Riley will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27 ^th Ave., Ste 302 , Miami , FL 33133 or in care of the funeral home.
