Adele was born to Hector and Edmire Metro Rheault. She married Merle L. Demars on April 23, 1946 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Aurora, KS. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2004. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and VFW Post #588 Ladies Auxiliary all of Concordia, KS. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidering, and cooking for family and friends. Survivors include: 2 sons; David Demars and wife Vicki, Joseph Demars and wife Sheila, both of Concordia, 1 daughter; Tamara Maher and husband Roger, Abilene, KS; 4 Grandchildren; Jason Demars of Abilene, KS, Curtis Demars and Scott Demars and wife Amanda, all of Glasco, KS, Debra Sterrett and husband Damon of Concordia; 2 step Grandchildren; Sheree Tullos of Humble, TX, and Danielle DeBacker and husband Travis of Long View, TX; 2 great grandchildren & 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle, parents, a grandchild, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Visitation is scheduled from 9 AM to 9 PM Friday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. An altar society Rosary will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, and vigil services at 7:00 PM Friday both at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cheyenne Lodge Nursing Home or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
