Anna (Charbonneau) Begnoche left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, December 4, 2010 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde at the age of 95. Anna was the eldest child of Euclid & Matilda (Marcotte) Charbonneau and was born July 21, 1915 in Aurora, KS. Anna married Phil Begnoche, Nov. 9, 1932 and to this union was born Phyllis, Johnny, Julia, Mary, Mike & Denise. Anna was a homemaker and later a cook and waitress as the South Side Café in Clyde. Anna was a volunteer at Park Villa Nursing Home for many years. Anna was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great inspiration and mentor and spent her life dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Anna belonged to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters for 50 years. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband Phil, daughters, Phillis Sorell & Julia Pounds Fraser, grandson Brandon Begnoche, great granddaughter Karstin Begnoche, brothers Narcisse & Francis Charbonneau & son in laws, Don Sorell & Delmar Pounds. Anna is survived by her sons, Johnny Begnoche & wife Irene, Clyde & Mike Begnoche & wife Nicci, Clay Center; daughters, Mary Nicholas & husband Dale & Denise Beeson & husband Ron both of Clyde, KS; 31 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and families & her sister, Marie LaPlant, Gardner, KS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Tues., Dec. 7, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 5 PM, Mon. at Chaput Mortuary and after 6 PM at the church. A Parish Rosary will be at 4 PM Mon. at the funeral home and a Vigil service at 7 PM at the church. Burial will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Clyde. In honor of Anna's love of gardening and flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Park Villa Landscaping Fund for their loving care of Anna.
