Anna M. Kiel, age 73, entered into rest on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on October 27, 1947 in Cloud County, Kansas to David and Marcella Ann (Koerperich) Vopat.

Anna was a 1966 graduate of Aurora High School, Aurora, Kansas.  She later received her Registered Nursing Degree from Cloud County Community College.

Anna worked for more than 20 years at Lake Point Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas until her retirement.

Anna attended Central Community Church in Wichita.

She enjoyed puzzles, puzzle books and most of all spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her, daughter, Kristine Hudeib, her 2 sons, James and Jonathan Kiel all of Wichita, KS; 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild,  2 sisters, Mary Jones, Salina, KS; Bernadetta McCollum (Leland), Clay Center, KS; a brother, David Vopat, Mankato, KS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Marcella, sister, Elizabeth Grant.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 with the family receiving friends from 6-8 pm at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas, with Pastor Susan Innes officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.
