Arlene Adams, age 86, Concordia resident, passed away on December 26, 2014 at the Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. She was born on July 17, 1928 in Harmon County, Oklahoma to Abner T. and LaVesta (Helms) Waller.

On July 17, 1947 she married Truman Adams. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1974. Arlene was employed at Hardeman County Hospital in Quanah, TX for over 30 years.

She is survived by two sons, Harley Adams (Darla), Johnny Adams (Ann), a Daughter, Kathie Winter (Jim) all of Concordia; a sister, Geneva Proffitt, Memphis, TX.; 8 Grandchildren, Kyle Adams (Heather), Keri Hissong (Mark), Cody Adams (Momoe), Michael Adams (Linsey), Jamie & Greg Winter, Ashley & John Adams; 8 Great Grandchildren, Braden & Blair Adams, Adam & Jacob Hissong, Elizabeth, William, Olivia, and Cecil Shohei Adams.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lena Gale Adams, a twin brother, Ira Lee Waller, and brother L.C. Waller.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm with the family present to greet friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas. Visitation will be held on, Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Lowell-Tims Eldorado Chapel, Eldorado, Oklahoma from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm with the family present to greet friends.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, December 31, 2014 at the Eldorado Cemetery, Eldorado, Oklahoma, with Jim Winter presiding.
