Barbara Jean  Rott, 93 years of age, of Concordia passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Marquis Place of Concordia in Concordia. She was born on May 22, 1932 in Concordia, Kansas to Orin and Mildred (Snook) Heitsman.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kathy Byrd of Concordia, KS; grandson, Casey Pettinger of Lincoln, NE; 

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2026 in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Vining, Kansas, with Pastor Michael Ostermann officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026 with Family greeting friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia.
