Becky J. Mason, age 38, died at her home in Concordia, KS on Tues., Nov. 11, 2014. She was born on Dec. 8, 1975 to Raymond & Linda (Hamel) Mason.

Becky grew up in Concordia and graduated from Concordia High School in 1994. She attended Johnson County Community College and worked for JC Penney in the KC area. She moved to Manhattan and then returned to Concordia in 1999. She was a CNA at Park Villa and later a home health nurse for Gary Paris. She was a former member of the American Legion. Becky dearly loved all her nieces and nephews. She was known by many of her nieces and nephews friends as "Aunt Becky". Her second loves were her 2 very spoiled cats...Ethel and Imus.

She is survived by her father Raymond Mason (Lorrie); mother, Linda Berk (Dale); sister, Jody Halfhide (Tim); brother, Brad Mason; grandmother, Pearl Mason, all of Concordia; step brothers, Brad Berk (Kay) & Clinton Fraser (Carrie); step sisters, Chris Kressley (Craig) & Marsha Wachsnicht (Aaron); nieces & nephews, Tosha & Benjamin Mason (Anna Christenson), Ian Halfhide & Taylor & Braxtin Mason; great nephew, Trevin Christenson Mason; cousins, Russell & Randy Mason, Alan Bloomfield, Amber Bloomfield-Martinez, Shelbi Hamel & Lisa Hamel her aunts, uncles and host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, great grandparents, aunt, Pauline Mason & her special friend, Gary Paris.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, Nov. 14 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Becky Mason Memorial Fund for her nieces & nephews education in care of the funeral home.
