Benjamin "Ben" F. Goff was born on Oct. 3, 1928 in Cave City, Arkansas to Leonard and Pearl Gaye Goff. He passed from this life on July 2, 2007 at Cornerstone Village in Pittsburg, Kansas at the age of 78. He was employed by the Jewell County Highway Dept. for over 30 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Randall, Kansas. He was a former member of American Legion Post #76 and Moose Lodge #1428 both of Concordia, Kansas. He is survived by his sons, Curtis Goff, Beloit, KS and Rod Goff and wife Kim, Jewell, KS; daughters, Sondra Hyman and Hus. Phillip, Frontenac, KS, Yvonne Walls and Hus. Dale, Elizabeth, CO and Brenda Goff, Tulsa, OK; sisters, Jean Cobb, Lawrence, KS and Marcia Gabe, Salina, KS; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Erma Goff, four brothers and three sisters. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Randall Cemetery, Randall, KS. There will be no visitation, Mr. Goff was cremated. The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
