Bernadine M. LeClair, 90 years of age, of Clyde, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 at Park Villa Nursing Home in Clyde . She was born on December 26, 1921 in Clifton to Charles and Blanche (Gieber) Schumaker. She married Melvin E. LeClair on May 18, 1942 in Clifton .

Bernadine is survived by 2 sons, Ronald of Jewell, Mark of Concordia; 2 daughters, Connie Switzer of Abilene , Kathy Ormsby of Osage City ; 5 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; and a brother, Clair Schumaker of Clyde . She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Melvin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Clyde . Visitation will be held from 2 – 8 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012 with a parish rosary at 6 PM in the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde . Memorials are suggested to the church or the cemetery in care of the mortuary.
