Bernita M. Chaput, age 59, Clyde Resident, entered into rest on November 8, 2015 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde. She was born on March 7, 1956 to Bernard Emile and Edith May (McCall) Chaput.

Bernita was a Clyde High School Graduate. She served in the U.S. Air Force. She received her RN degree from NCKAVTS, Beloit, Kansas. She was a RN working in various hospitals and also private care.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde.

Survivors include her 2 sons, William Sharp, Riley, Ks.; Jayson Sharp, Redmond, Wa.; Mother, Edith Chaput, Clyde; Brother, LeRoy Chaput (Sandra), Park City, Ks.; 2 sisters, Christine Walker, Elizabethtown, Pa.; Melinda Collette. 2 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father Bernard Chaput.

Celebration of a Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Fr. James Soosainathan will be officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in care of Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.
