Bertha L. Fraser was born on Dec. 12, 1942 in Concordia, KS to Charles W. & Jenny I. (Jack) Lawrence. She passed from this life on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at her home in Concordia, KS at the age of 67. Bertha grew up in the Concordia area. She married Kenneth Letourneau & to this union had 4 children. She later married Lewman Fraser in 1978. Bertha was a nurses aid at St. Joseph Hospital, a dietary aid at Sunset Home and later gave in home health care until becoming disabled. Bertha attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church & was a member of American Legion Post #76 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her daughters: Debra Istas & husband Bill, Aurora, KS & Louisa Dowling, Concordia, KS; sons: Robert Letourneau & wife Corina, Aurora, KS & William Letourneau & Tiffany, Concordia, KS; brother: Roy Lawrence & wife Donna, Concordia, KS; sister: Laura Christensen & husband Damon, Concordia, KS; 10 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents & sister, Ada Johnson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Wed., July 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 9 PM with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 PM and Vigil services at 6:30 PM, Tues., July 13, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, KS. The family suggests memorials to the Cloud Co. Relay for Life in care of the funeral home.
