Bettie E. Feasel was born on Feb. 2, 1926 in Chanute, KS to Myrle E. and Estella P. (Patterson) Howell. She passed from this life on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 82. She attended Chanute schools. She married Lloyd H. Feasel on Feb. 4, 1944 in Chanute, KS. They made their homes in California & Utah, moving 32 times before making their home in Concordia, KS after retirement. She was a homemaker. She was a member of The Baptist Church, Concordia and a former member of the Atheneum Club. She was active in Child Evangelism, Christian Women's Club, American Baptist Women's Ministry and Home Bible Studies. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Feasel, Concordia; brothers, Myrle Howell, Elmhurst, IL & Gary Howell, Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Michelle Feasel, Burleson, TX & Corinne Hale, Weatherford, TX and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son-Anthony "Tony" Feasel and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wed., Oct. 22, 2008 at The Baptist Church, Concordia, KS with Pastor David Fabarez and Pastor Jason Grogan officiating. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, KS. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 9 PM, Tues., Oct. 21, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to The Baptist Church or the American Heart Assoc.
