Betty Lou Knox, age 88, entered into rest on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Mt. Joseph Senior Village in Concordia, Kansas. She was born April 7, 1933 to Lester and Frances (Stoner) Bottger.

She graduated from Clyde High School in May of 1951.  She married Leroy Clifford "Cliff" Knox on Jan. 15, 1951 in Clyde, KS.    Betty was a homemaker.  Betty also worked for Park Villa Nursing Home as a CNA, CMA and was a Social Worker for many years.

She was a member of the Christian Church, CWF Group, all in Clyde, Kansas.

Betty enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of different Bridge Clubs.  She also enjoyed cooking family meals, family gatherings, sewing, eating Oreo cookies, and raising her dogs.  Most of all Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Williams & husband Robert, Belleville, KS; Son, Michael Knox & Sandy, Clifton, KS; Son, Pat Knox & wife Deb, Clyde, KS; Son, Jim Knox & wife Deanna, Holden, MO, Son, Jeff Knox, Agenda, KS; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, her parents, Lester and Frances.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Chaput Mortuary, Clyde, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Christian Church in Clyde, Kansas with Pastor Michael Ostermann officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning/Agenda Cemetery, Agenda, Kansas.
