Betty Jo (Shuler) Holechek, age 55, died on November 12, 2014 at the Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Concordia, Kansas on May 5, 1959 to Lorence William and Mary Rosina (Blochlinger) Shuler.

Betty attended Concordia Schools, She received her LPN Degree from NCKAVTS Beloit Campus; RN Degree Cloud County Community College; Bachelor's in Nursing from Tabor University, Hillsboro, KS.; Master in Business Administration from Friends University, Wichita, KS. Betty worked for Via Christi Villages as a Regional Clinical Consultant for 30 plus years.

She married Roger Holechek on November 21, 1975 at the First Presbyterian Church in Concordia, KS.

Her hobbies include, Scrapbooking, Canning and Cooking.

She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wichita, KS

Betty mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, children and beloved Grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Holechek, Valley Center, Kansas; Son Brett Holechek (Pam), Concordia, KS.; Daughter, Jami Holechek Shirley (Tom), Lincoln, KS.; 3 Sisters, Linda Haist (Ernest), Concordia, KS.; Avis Brooks, Concordia, KS.; Carla Rosenthal (Dan), Malone, WI.; 4 Brothers, Larry Shuler (Kim), Concordia, KS.; Edward Shuler (Angie), Perry, KS.; John Shuler (Sheryl), Concordia, KS.; Carl Shuler, KC, MO.; 5 Grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandchild, Samuel Lorence Myers

Visitation will be held, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, 10:00 A.M., November 18, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church, Concordia with Pastor's Bob Frasier and Laura Frazey officiating. Family suggests memorial contributions may be given to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Wichita, Ks., in care of the Funeral Home.
