?Betty Lee Stillwell, 72, Concordia, KS died Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was born on February 7,
1937 in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of Carl and Mabel (Rosa) Redmond. She was a homemaker
and retired Activities Director for Sunset Nursing Center. Betty was united in marriage to Donald
D. Stillwell and to this union four children born. She is preceded in death by her husband, her
parents, and a younger sister. Betty is survived by her children, David Stillwell and wife Debbi and
Brian Stillwell and wife Priscilla all of Scottsville, KS; Vicki Kopsa and husband Dale, Agenda, KS,
and Tina Walsh and husband Robert, Concordia, KS. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren,
Jonathan Stillwell and wife Jenny, Scottsville, RyAnn Stillwell, Beloit, Kristi Stillwell and fiance
Jeremy Adams, Beloit, Brandon Stillwell, Scottsville, Michael Hendershott, wife Christian and
children Jax and Jazlyn, Agenda, Mark Hendershott, Manhattan, Lindsay Walsh, Kansas City, and
Haley and Zoe Walsh, Concordia; her brother Bud Redmond and wife Pat, Chapin, SC. Betty's love
for her family showed in everything that she did. When her health permitted, she was an
accomplished artist. She was also very artistic in her ability to make floral arrangements for any
occaison. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W.
6th St., Concordia, KS with burial at the Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, KS. Memorials may be
made at the donor's choice or to the American Lung Association. Visitation will be Wednesday 9
to 9 PM at the funeral home.
