Beulah Marie Snell was born on February 25, 1915 in Cloud County, Kansas to Fredrick and Lusina Crum Copper. She passed from this life on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, Kansas at the age of 92.  She attended school in Cloud County. Beulah worked in Duckwalls before she was married to Levi Snell on Sept. 3, 1935 in Concordia, Kansas. They farmed on his family farm in Arion Township for many years. They moved to Concordia in 1978 and in 1999 Beulah and Levi moved into the Sunset Nursing Home where Levi preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2000. Beulah was a homemaker. She was member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Concordia. She is survived by sisters in law, Ethel Ward and Hus. Thomas, Camp Verde, AZ, Edith Just and Addie Staab and Hus. Ernest all of Mayfield, KY and Adalene Snell, Salina, KS; a brother in law, Mose Budreau, Salina, KS; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia with Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM on Wed., August 22, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 7-9 PM Wed. Burial will follow the services at Morrison Cemetery, SW of Concordia. The family suggests memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church or Sunset Home.
