Beverly R. Burton, Age 77, entered into rest on Monday, June 20, 2016 at her residence in Concordia, Kansas. She was born on April 10, 1939 in Rice, Kansas to Joseph and Anna (Dreiling) Ptaschek.
She married Larry E. Burton in KC, KS. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2008.
She was a 1957 graduate of Concordia High School and received an associate degree in Accounting from a Business College. Beverly retired as an owner/operator of Eckberg Corporation.

he was a member of American Legion and Moose Lodge, KC, KS.

Beverly enjoyed gardening, attending to her plants and loved to read and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her 5 children, a son David Hamilton, Cincinnati, OH.; Sue Verlinde, Overland Park, KS.; Debbie Stumpner (Eric), KC, KS.; Brenda Gaona ; Lori Davis (Ken), Concordia; a sister JoAnn (Ptaschek) Overton, Benton, WI.
9 Grandchildren, James and Paige Verlinde, Jasmine Hamilton, Hillary and Karly Stumpner; Jeremy and Jessica Gaona, Tiraa and Devon Davis. 7 Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later time.
