Billie Jean Rowland, age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Marquis Place, Concordia, KS.  She was born on September 3, 1937 in Dawson, NE to Carl & Sadie (Schuler) Miller.

She grew up and attended schools in NE.  She married Pete E. Rowland, Jr. on February 19, 1977 in Junction City, KS.  He preceded her on April 29, 1994.

She was a homemaker and they moved to Clyde, KS in August 1989 and she later moved to Concordia.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Rowland (Brandi) & Luke Rowland, Concordia and Raymond Rowland, AR; brother, Ora Miller, Port Orchard, WA & 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded by her husband, Pete; her parents & sister, Doris Rowland.

It was Billie's wishes to be cremated and a graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Clyde, KS with Fr. Steven Heina officiating.
