Blanche L. (Bisnette) Roberts, 100 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Mount Joseph Senior Village in Concordia. She was born on September 15, 1912 near Aurora to Edward and Lillie (Boucher) Bisnette. Blanche married Ernest "Ernie" Roberts on May 16, 1931 at Aurora. Throughout their many happy years together, they resided in western Kansas, Abilene, and Concordia. Blanche was an avid reader and gardener. She also worked in retail sales at JC Penney and Duckwall-Alco for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Altar Society, and Women of the Moose.

Blanche is survived by her sister, Edna Hamel of Concordia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ernie on February 2, 1986; sister, Alice Edwards; and three brothers, John, Martin, and Leon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia with Rev. Msgr. Barry Brinkman officiating. Interment will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in care of the funeral home. Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia is in charge of arrangements.
