Boyd "Toby" June was born on February 7, 1935 in Haddam, Kansas to Glen and Celia Anderson June.  He passed from this life on May 20, 2007 at his residence in Concordia, Kansas at the age of 72.  H e graduated from Haddam High School in Haddam, KS. He married Patty Cassel on Jan. 1, 1955 in Concordia, KS. She survives the home. He farmed in the Crete, NE area for over 30 years until they moved to Concordia, KS in Oct. 1999. He also drove the bus for the Cloud Co. division of the Commission on Aging. He greatly enjoyed his time spent driving from community to community.  He is survived by his wife Patty of Concordia, sons, Brad June and wife Cheryl of Milford, NE, Brian June and wife Lynette of Columbus, NE and Jason June and wife Jody of Malmo, NE, daughters, Cindi Etten and Hus. John of Portland, OR and Laurie Heise and Hus. Tim of Lincoln, NE, a sister, Harriet Levendofsky and Hus. Paul of Belleville, KS, 11 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a grandchild and his mother in law, Bertha "Johnnie" Cassel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Rev.John States officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM Wed. with the family greeting friends from 6-7 PM Wed. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.  The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice.
