Bryan K. Hardaway was born on Aug. 26, 1963 in San Francisco, California. The son of Dean & Joyce (Nelson) Hardaway. He passed from this life on Monday, May 24, 2010 in Grand Forks, North Dakota at the age of 46. Bryan graduated from Concordia High School in 1981. He then attended and graduated from cosmetology school in Salina. Upon returning to Concordia, Bryan was a barber and also worked as a cook a the Moose Lodge #1428, Cheyenne Lodge Nursing Home, Jamestown & he managed the River Road Restaurant in Concordia. He is survived by his sons: Devan Monroe, Concordia, KS, Anthony Monroe, Concordia, KS & Casey Hardaway, Herington, KS; granddaughter: Aubrey, Herington, KS; parents: Dean & Joyce Hardaway, Jamestown, KS; brother: Roger Hardaway & wife Tina, Concordia, KS; nephews: Garrett Peterson, Concordia, KS & Brendan Hardaway, Concordia, KS. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Saron Baptist Cemetery, Jamestown, KS. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Devan Monroe Education Fund.
