Bryan E. Lagasse, 48 years of age, of Omaha , Nebraska , passed away Wednesday September 26, 2012 in Omaha . He was born on December 6, 1963 to Verlin and Karen Lagasse.

Bryan is survived by his mother and step-father, Karen and Verne Knoche; fiancée, Kathy Passauer; children, Shelby Swaine, Carly Lagasse, Blake Lagasse; siblings, Eric Lagasse and wife Sharon of Lane, Kansas, Kimberly Lagasse of Cincinnati, Ohio; uncle, Larry Lagasse and wife Lana of Concordia, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Madison and Allison Lagasse of Lane, Kansas, Ryan, Abby, Amelia Summerskill of Shawnee, Kansas Courtney Summerskill of Cincinnati, Ohio; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Verlin E. Lagasse.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2012 at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel in Omaha , Nebraska . Family will greet friends at the mortuary 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the Rice Cemetery , Rice, Kansas . In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family to be used Bryan 's children's college fund.
