Charlene Marie Davis, age 56, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her home in Manhattan, KS.  She was born on Feb. 15, 1962 in Concordia, KS, the daughter of Michael L. & Deanna J. (Shamburg) Cibolski.

She grew up in the Concordia area and graduated from Concordia High School in 1980.  She worked for Kansas State University in the Housing & Dining Dept. and later for the Dept. of Veterinary Medicine until her health forced her to retire.  Charlene loved her grandchildren, whom she affectionately called "her babies" and enjoyed spending her time with them.  She was a wonderful gardener and enjoyed crocheting blankets.  In her spare time, she enjoyed putting together puzzles.  Charlene was a strong, caring person that never complained about her troubles or the obstacles that she faced in life.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeni Lehecka (Shawn), Wamego; sons, Sean Davis, Manhattan & Aaron Kemnitz (McKiley), Manhattan; father, Mike Cibolski, Concordia; sisters, Barbara Leonard (Rick), Manhattan, Janet O'Connor (Mike), Salina & Sandy Chapman (Jim), Salina; brother, Kirk Cibolski (Kim), Salina; grandchildren, Katelyn Lehecka & Athena-Lynn Kemnitz; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews and a host of other friends & relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Deanna.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Wed., November 28, 2018 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.  Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Tues., November 27, 2018 with the family greeting friends from 6-7 pm at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family and will be designated at a later date.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
