Charles "Charlie" Lowers, age 75, Concordia resident, entered into rest on May 10, 2015 at the Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia. He was born in Clyde, Kansas on October 23, 1939 to Floyd and Cora (Belleau) Lowers.

Charlie was a lifelong Cloud County area resident. He was 1957 Clyde High School graduate. On August 13, 1960 he married Cathy Mentgen in Concordia, Kansas. He worked for Boogaarts also operated a truck repair shop and farmed. Charlie served on CCCC Board of Directors. He was a member of the American Legion Post 76, Concordia.

Survivors include his wife Cathy, of the home in Concordia; a daughter, Diana Marcotte (Craig), Beloit, KS.; a son, Michael Lowers, and friend Kim, Salina, KS.; 5 Grandchildren, Amy Marcotte, Concordia, KS.; Nick Marcotte, Beloit, KS.; Zach Lowers, Devon Lowers, and Maisy Lowers all of Salina, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, half brother, Harvey Harper.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, with Rev. Dean Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
