Charles "Bud" Lyle Young, 78 years of age, of Clyde, passed away Saturday, February 26 ^th , 2012 at his home in Clyde . The son of Charles Monroe and Miona Lucille (Harrison) Young, he was born October 17 ^th , 1933 in Manhattan . Charles was united in marriage to Shirley Hileman. To this union eight children were born. They divorced in 1974 and he later married Jacquelyne M. Hubert 34 years ago on February 4, 1978.

Survivors include his wife of the home in Clyde; eight children, sons Robert (Wen Jing) of Greenleaf, Lance (Terri) of Yelm, WA, Cliff of Palm Springs, CA, Charles of Clifton, KS, daughters, Chloe of Niagara, NY, Regena Johnson of Topeka, Elizabeth (Billy) Squires of Grandfield, OK, Sherry (Lester) Rogge of Greenleaf; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Herman (Linda) Young; sisters, Rose Dettmer, Lenora (Frank) Sweet, Faye Ellis; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother; and 1 great grandson.

Bud's family will hold a celebration of life Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Clyde Apartments Community Room from 10AM-12PM. The family has chosen cremation. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
