Chér Geralyn Boling Knudsen, age 54, left this earthly life at her home in rural Aurora, Kansas.  She was born on January 24, 1967 in Concordia, Kansas to Richard "Dick" R. & Jane M. (Brunell) Boling.

Chér graduated from Concordia High School in 1985 and then Cloud County Community College in 1987.  She worked 8 years in Carrollton, Texas while living with her aunt Debra Coker. Chér was married to Rick Knudsen from 2005 to 2020 and made their home in Concordia.  Cher worked as the Office Manager for Womack Sunshine Ford and currently the Assistant Bookstore Manager and Production Room Specialist at Cloud County Community College.

Chér's hobbies included reading, crafts and coloring, trips to the casino, cruises, shopping, traveling, and Sunday Brunch at the St. Joe Store, and most of all spending time with her family and friends, and her best friend Bristol.

She was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church, and St. Anne's Altar Society.

She is survived by her parents, Dick & Jane Boling, Aurora; sister, Dawn Snyder (Steve), Concordia; brother, Alan Boling (Micaela), Omaha, NE; grandmother, Jeanne Boling, Valley Falls, KS; host of aunts and uncles, several nieces & nephews & many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank & Lorena Brunell & Ferdinand "Bud" Boling, her aunts, Debra Coker, Anita Brunell Colbert, Patricia Letourneau and a host of other family members.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1-4 PM at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, Kansas. A Rosary will be prayed on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 6:00 PM at the St. Peter Catholic Church in Aurora, Kansas.  Family will greet friends after the Rosary Service.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Aurora, Kansas with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas.

Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Peter Catholic Church or Masses in lieu of flowers c/o Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
