Obituary
Claudia Faye Smiley-Allen, age 66, of Concordia, formerly of Dallas, Texas, entered into rest on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home in Concordia. She was born on Jan. 10, 1950 in Hot Springs, AR to James & Hazel F. (Light) Smiley.
She received her RN BSN in 1992 from Washburn University Department of Nursing. She married Dale E. Allen on Dec. 17, 1993 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 2007. She was a registered nurse with the Dallas Medical Center, retiring in 2015.
Claudia attended The Baptist Church, Concordia. Her hobbies included reading, coloring, crocheting, movies, auctions and Harley Davidson Motorcycles and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Morgan (Jesse), Concordia; their 3 children, Jamie Morgan (Fiancé Haley) their children Alexander and Jason, Wichita, KS.; Tristin Morgan (Fiancé Amanda), Concordia; Marissa Morgan, Hays; A daughter; Cory Yosten (Jeremy), Saginaw, TX.; their 2 children, Jeffrey Henry, San Marcos, TX.; Chloe Vankuilenburg, Saginaw, TX.; Step-Father, Harold Brady, Bradenton, FL.; step-daughters; Rebecca Allen, Sebeka, MN; Kelly O'Brien, Lawrence; Heather Kessler, Baldwin City & Melissa Carter, Ft. Scott; 2 step-sons, Mike Robinson, Titusville, FL.; Ronnie Robinson, Lawrence; 2 brothers, Chuck and Andy Smiley of Centennial, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dale Allen.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 28, 2016, at The Baptist Church, Concordia with Kenneth Johnson officiating.
Burial will be at 4:00 p.m., Friday at Elm Grove Cadmus Cemetery, Cadmus, KS.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
