Clifford A. DeGraff was born on August 2, 1925 in Concordia, Kansas to Sherman G. and Vera B. Reeves DeGraff. He passed from this life on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Appalachian Christian Village in Johnson City, Tennessee at the age of 82. He married Betty J. Wilson on Aug. 5, 1945 in Concordia, KS. She survives the home. He was a former Cloud County Engineer for 13 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bedford, Indiana. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bedford Lodge #14 A.F. & A.M. in Bedford, IN, Murat Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. in Indianapolis, IN, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #826 in Bedford, IN, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite #14 in Bedford, IN, VFW Post #588 in Concordia, KS, a member of the York Rite and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was a former Lt. Gov. of the Kiwanis of Kansas. He also belonged to the Professional Engineers Society of Kansas. He is survived by his wife Betty J., Johnson City, TN; sons, Michael D. DeGraff and wife Esther, Sedalia, MO and Larry G. DeGraff & partner Robert Vaughan, Piney Flatts, TN; grandchildren, Nathaniel G. DeGraff  and Diana Estrada and Clifford R. DeGraff both of Sedalia, MO and a great granddaughter, Mia Isabella DeGraff, Sedalia, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia with Military Honors by VFW Post #588 and American Legion Post #76 and Masonic Graveside Services by St. John's Lodge #113 A.F. & A.M.. Visitation will be held from 2-9 PM Friday, January 25, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM. The family suggests memorials to the Shriner Hospitals for Children or the Alzheimer's Association.
