Colleen (Kelly) Hoesli, age 63, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas. She was born on December 4, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas to John and JoAnn (Girard) Kelly.
Colleen was a 1976 graduate of Derby High School.
On April 26, 1980 she married Robert Hoesli at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde. To this Union 3 children were born, Sheena, Sheryl and Shane.
Colleen served as the Clerk in the Concordia Post Office for 38 years.
She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde.
Her hobbies included playing pickle ball, traveling, camping, watching her grandkids sports and most of all spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hoesli, Clyde, KS; 2 Daughters, Sheena (Kevin) Thrasher, Clyde, KS; Sheryl (Bradyn) Breault, Silver Lake, KS; 5 grandchildren, Haley, Levi, Chase, Keygan and Miley; 6 sisters, Kathy (Steve) Gonzalez, Wichita, KS; Cindy (Dennis) Beiswanger, Derby, KS; Charlene (Steve) Lacy, Derby, KS; Janelle (Rick), McReynolds, Rosehill, KS; Sandra (LeRoy) Chaput, Park City, KS; Barb (Randy) Taylor, Fall River, KS; a brother, Tim (Marcy) Kelly, Wichita, KS; 5 sisters-in-laws, Janell (Dan) Sueltz, Centennial, CO; Cindy (Gary) Wurtz, The Villages, FL; Edye (Rick) Armstrong, Topeka, KS; Mary (Greg) Gilstrap, Surprise, AZ; Annette (Dan) Tucker, Bonner Springs, KS, a brother-in-law, Jerry Hoesli, Hutchinson, KS; several nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by her son, Shane Hoesli, her parents, John and JoAnn.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1-6 pm at the Chaput Mortuary in Clyde. Family will receive friends from 4-6 pm.
Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 3, 2022 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde, Kansas, with Fr. Steven Heina officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Colleen Hoesli Memorial Fund to be designated at a later time in care of Chaput Mortuay, PO Box 291, Clyde, KS 66938.
