Crystal LeAnne (Valeka) Trost, 25 years of age, of Concordia passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Cloud County Health Center . She was born in Russell on November 27, 1985 to Norman Jr. and Sharon (Owen) Valeka. She graduated from Hanover High School in 2004. Crystal married Michael Trost on March 30, 2008. She worked as a CNA at Mount Joseph Senior Village in Concordia. Crystal was a loving mother and enjoyed writing poetry, facebooking, and texting.

Crystal is survived by her husband, Michael; 2 daughters, Trinity, Kylie; a son, Traytin; 2 brothers, Chris Valeka, Jarrod Valeka, both of Clyde; a half brother, Tarren Valeka of Salina; grandmother, Olive Valeka of Clyde; 3 sister's-in-law; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Valeka, Jr.; and her grandfather, Norman Valeka, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 9, 2011 at Chaput Mortuary in Clyde with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery , Clyde . Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Sunday, May 8, 2011. Memorials may be left to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
