Dala J. Eisenman, 62 years of age, of Clay Center, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems in Beloit. She was born in Concordia on June 29, 1950 to Kenneth and Velda (Cranmer) Douglas. Dala graduated from Clyde High School in 1968. She married Jim Eisenman in Belleville on September 21, 1968. Dala loved dancing, singing, bingo, and especially spending time with her grandkids and her buddy Spike.

Dala is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter, Dawn Thoman and husband Tom of Jamestown; son, James of Clay Center; 3 grandsons, Zachary Thoman and wife Tracey of El Dorado, Jarod and Jacob Thoman of Jamestown; 3 great grandchildren, Allison, Shelby, Ethan; 2 sisters, Kennie Smith and husband Bob of Delphos, Kelly Fleming and husband Jeff of Clay Center; sister-in-law, Linda Douglas-Holl of Belleville; her buddy Spike; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Charles Douglas, David Douglas; and a sister, Sandy Douglas.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 14, 2012 in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia with Randy Whitley officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Clyde. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 9 PM Friday, July 13, 2012 with family greeting friends from 6 – 7 PM in the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
