Daniel "Dan" H. Fraser, age 80, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his home in Concordia, KS.  He was born on September 15, 1939 at the family home in Aurora, Kansas to Alcid and Josephine (Cote) Fraser.

Dan graduated from Aurora High School in 1957.  He married Barbara D. Appleby on October 15, 1960 at the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Aurora, Kansas.  She preceded him in death on June 23, 2007.

Dan worked for the Cloud County Highway Department as a road grader.  Earlier in his career Dan worked for Concordia Co-op where he ran a tire service truck servicing area farmers with tire repairs.

He was a past member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and Moose Lodge both of Concordia.

Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching T.V.

Dan is survived by his children, Edward Fraser, Cawker City, KS; Kevin Fraser, Concordia, KS; Michelle Jensen (Glen), Miltonvale, KS; Lynette Stuewe, Concordia, KS; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way and 1 great-great grandchild, 3 sisters, Marlene Langevin, Eloise Pfeifer, Dolora May Schlatter, 2 brothers, Fabian and Raymond Fraser.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, daughter, Sheri Fahey, parents, 2 grandsons, Brenden Lee Tate, Craig Davis, great granddaughter, Ava Danielle Cheely, 2 brothers, Lewman and Lee Fraser, 2 sisters, Eileen Dandurand & Alvarita Fraser.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 14, 2020 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Ames, Kansas.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home Chapel.
