Darlene A. Bachamp, age 75, left this earthly life on Wed., Oct. 12, 2106 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. She was born on Aug. 31, 1941 in Colfax Twp, Cloud Co., KS to Richard V. & Adelaide L. (Gunter) Marcotte.

Darlene graduated from Aurora High School in 1959 and Brown Mackie Business College, Salina. She married Gearld Bachamp on May 28, 1960 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Aurora, KS. Darlene worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 43 years. She also operated her own interior decorating business, Darlene's Touch along with making wedding & birthday cakes for many years for family & friends. She also helped with the family business, Gearld's Body Shop. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia where she played the organ, taught religious education classes, was involved in CYO and was a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Gearld, Concordia; sons, Mark Bachamp (Betty), Manhattan & Michael Bachamp (Iolanda) & Ricardo Luz (Cleusa), both of Lynn Haven, FL; ; daughters; Dr. Monica Bachamp Easter (Jeff), Salina & , Maria Chrisco (John), Baldwin City; grandchildren & great grandchildren: Cole Bachamp (Bailey), Kyle Bachamp, Krista Dewitt (Tyler) and son, Paxton; Whitney Schroeder (Jason) & children, Harrison, Holden & Aurora; Macey Hundley, Lane Bachamp (Jessica) & children, Cameron, Greyson & Jameson; Adelaide Easter; Taylor, Sydney, Raef, Kennedy & Bryer Chrisco & Gaspar Luz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jefferey Eugene Easter, Jr. & 4 infant grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Mon., Oct. 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Fr. David Metz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-8 pm, Sun., Oct. 16, 2016 with a Vigil and Altar Society Rosary at 5 pm, and family greeting friends after the vigil services at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
