Darlene F. Everhart, age 76, formerly of Inman, KS, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her son's home, surrounded by her family in Hutchinson, KS.  She was born on October 28, 1942 in Jamestown, KS to Theodore "Ted" & Blanche (Edgington) Christenson

Darlene married Donald "Hod" Everhart on Aug. 21, 1959 in Scandia, KS and he preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2003.  She owned and operated Jay-Dees Kennels.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Regina Bennett, Inman; sons, Lonnie Everhart (Anashunderia), McKinney, TX, David Everhart, Inman & Daniel Everhart (Jennifer), Hutchinson; 8 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Hod" Everhart; son Donald Everhart, Jr.; daughter, Judy Everhart; great grandson, Jaidan Dean Scott Everhart; her parents; brother, Albert Christenson & sisters, Ruth Trowbridge & Betty Jo Emerson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, November 1, 2019 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.  Burial will follow at the Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown.  Visitation will be from 1-8 pm, Thursday, October 31, 2019 at the funeral home.   The family suggests memorials to Kindred Hospice in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
