Darlyne V. Richards was the 6th child of 10 children born on March 6, 1928 in Hollis, KS to James L. "Bill" and Melvina Dungan Wallace.  She passed from this life on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Mitchell County Hospital at the age of 80.  She attended school in Minersville and then married Burton Richards on Aug. 22, 1948 in Concordia, KS.  He preceded her in death on June 30, 1994.  She lived in the Scottsville area all her married life with her husband and family.  She was a homemaker on the farm and later worked at the Concordia Country Club.  She attended the Scottsville Community Church.  She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends and family.  She is survived by her son, Tony Richards, Scottsville, KS; grandchildren, Cristi Scheibler and husband Don, Hays, KS and Terry Kiser and wife Beth, Abilene, KS; great grandchildren, Chase, Ky and Dylan Scheibler, Hays, KS and Hunter, Hannah and Noha Kiser, Abilene, KS; a sister, Loretta Michaud and husband Marvin, Olathe, KS and several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton; a daughter, Nancy Kiser; her parents; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 4, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia with Terry Shamburg and Rev. Ed Moynihan officiating.  Visitation will be held from 2-9 PM with the family gathering from 6-8 PM Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will follow the services at Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, KS.  The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
