Darrell D. Regnier was born on March 6, 1939 in Aurora, KS to Adalor & Opal (Demanett) Regnier. He passed from this life on Wed., July 28, 2010 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 71. Darrell grew up in the Aurora, KS area and lived there until moving to Concordia in 1965. Darrell was a fun loving person and was well known throughout the area & he never forgot a name. Darrell loved to play bingo & listening to country music. He also enjoyed playing with his great & great great nieces & nephews. Darrell is survived by his sisters: Dolores Aytes, Concordia, KS & Charlotte Read (Bill), Concordia, KS & several nieces, nephews, great & great great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; several aunts & uncles & former brother in law, Robert Aytes, Sr. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM, Mon., Aug. 2, 2010 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. The family choose cremation and friends may sign the register book from 1-9 PM with the family greeting friends from 7-8 PM, Sun., Aug. 1, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will follow the services in the St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. The family suggests memorials to the Mt. Joseph Senior Community or the Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund.
