Darrell D. (D.D.) Walden, age 90, entered into rest on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Sunset Nursing Home in Concordia, Kansas. He was born on December 14, 1933 in Concordia, Kansas, to Walter and Mabel (Strait) Walden.

He married Darlene M. Jewett on June 19, 1955, in Concordia, Kansas. To this union two children were born, Debra and Douglas.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Concordia, Kansas.

Darrell is survived by a daughter, Debra (Debi) Walden (Andrew Goetz), Corona del Mar, Calif.; a son, Douglas Walden (Robin), Portland, Ore.; three grandsons, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded by his wife, Darlene, his parents, one brother and four sisters.
