David Wayne Moffett, 56, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at Cloud County Health Center after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born November 13 ^th , 1955, in Concordia to Loren and Dora Mae (Girard) Moffett. David was a 1973 graduate of Concordia High School. After high school, David worked as a welder in Kansas and Nebraska.

He is survived by his mother, Dora Mae; brothers, Mark Moffett, Paul (Diane) Moffett; daughter, Nicole Moffett, all of Concordia; sons Aaron and Anthony Wolf- Moffett of Trenton, MO, John Moffett of Concordia; step-daughters, Idamarie Piper of Republic, MO, Shilo Hansen of Henderson, NE; granddaughters, Emmarey Moffett, Jaylynn Moffett; step-grandchildren, Jessie, Corban, Spencer, and Dariann Evans.

The family will hold a memorial graveside service at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia with Pastor Bob Cook officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center in Salina or the American Cancer Society.
