David E. West was born on May 12, 1963 in Kokomo, Indiana to Raymond and Sally (Jackson) West. He passed from this life on Monday, January 26, 2009 in Rural Miltonvale, KS at the age of 45. He married Marcia Stedman on Sept. 28, 1984 in Concordia. He worked in construction before becoming disabled. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors while being with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Marcia West, Miltonvale, KS; daughters, Lori West, Delphos, KS & Katie West, Concordia, KS; sons, Ryan West, PA & Eric West, Norton, KS; parents, Raymond & Sally West, Concordia, KS; sisters, Annie Desmarais, Clay Center, KS, Marie White, Concordia, KS & Chris Hartley, Miltonvale, KS; brothers, Michael West, Concordia, KS, Carl West, Concordia, KS, Everett West, Kokomo, IN & Jeff West, Indianapolis, IN & grandchildren, Jerica Snyder & David West. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, KS with Pastor Bob Burns, officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 8 PM on Thurs., Jan. 29, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale. The family suggests memorials to the David West Memorial Fund.
