Della A. McGeoch was born on August 3, 1917 in Aurora, Kansas to Joseph E. and Agnes Boyer Schille. She passed from this life on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Mount Joseph Senior Community at the age of 90. She married Carl Byron McGeoch on May 14, 1934 in Aurora, KS. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1965. She was a house keeper for 17 years at the St. Joseph Hospital, Concordia. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the F.A.L. Card Club. She is survived by her son, Ronald McGeoch, Beloit, KS; grandchildren, Glen McGeoch, Preston Sorell and Gevine Key and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; sons, Dewayne and Marty McGeoch, a brother and 2 sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia with Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-9 PM, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. An Altar Society Rosary will be held at 5 PM Sunday followed by Vigil services at 6:30 PM Sunday, all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The burial will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
