Delna Irene Logan was born on March 26, 1919 to Joseph L. and Lillian Wallace Gazaw.  She passed away from this life on March 14, 2008 at her home.  She married Arthur Andrew McCasland on September 2, 1940 in Hinsdale, Massachusetts.  He preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker.  She resided in Oceanside, California for 28 years.  She is survived by her children: Daughter: Paula Mendenhall, Concordia, Kansas; Daughter: Kathleen Bull and husband Fred, Sun City, California; Son: Michael McCasland and wife Sheryl, Upland, California; Sister: Avis Carmel, California; Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter: Susan Smelsey; a son: Daniel McCasland; Brothers: Wendell Logan and Trent Logan; Sister: Edwine Logan and her parents.  Funeral services will be at 4:00PM Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Sandra K. Moore officiating.  Visitation will be 9AM to 9PM Monday, March 17, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6-7PM.  Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia, Kansas.  The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice.
