Dora Mae Moffett, 88, of Concordia, KS was born on June 21, 1925 in St. Joseph, KS to Joseph & Anna (Perret) Girard. She passed away on Thurs., Dec. 26, 2013 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina.

She married Loren Moffett on July 8, 1950 in Concordia. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Concordia & was a homemaker. She & Loren enjoyed fishing & camping with their sons. Loren preceded her on Sept. 12, 1994.

She is survived by her sons, Paul Moffett & wife Diane & Mark Moffett, all of Concordia; grandchildren, Nicole Moffett, Anthony & Aaron Wolf-Moffett; great grandchildren Jaylynn & Emmarey & sister Patricia (Girard) Decker, Seattle, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; sons, David & Kenneth Moffett; parents; 4 brothers, Gaspard, Gene, Louis & Armand & 9 sisters, Frances Dunham, Emma Mahon, Leah Pellant Barnhart, Mary Rose Sherman, Helen Carrara, Julia Hammil, Georgianna Spafford, Eva Downey & Blanche Mossburgh.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tues, Dec. 31, 2013 at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia with Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 8 with a Rosary service at 6 pm on Mon, Dec. 30, 2013 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials to the Sisters of St. Joseph or Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
