Doris Fahlstrom was born on May 17, 1924 in Concordia, KS to Clayton & Lucille (Monroe) Krohn. She passed from this life on Mon, Dec. 27, 2010 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia at the age of 86. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1942. On February 3, 1944 she married Roy Fahlstrom, Jr... A daughter Debra was born September 1956. Doris worked at Safeway Grocery store, Palmquist Drug store, and was a Lab Assistant at Concordia Medical Clinic. She enjoyed working in her garden. Doris was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and O.E.S. Ophel Chapter No. 115. She was preceded in death her parents; husband Roy, Jr. in 1967; in - laws Harriett and Roy Fahlstrom. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Mon. Jan. 3, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Denise Group officiating. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM, Sun. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. The family suggests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church in care of the funeral home.
