Doris E. Walker was born December 9, 1916 in Aurora, Kansas to Aaron Elmer and Emma Lucretia Willhoyte Walker.  She passed from this life on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kansas.  She was a long time resident at the family farm east of Aurora, Kansas.  She was a homemaker and farmed with her sister Edna and brother Harry.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Miltonvale, Kansas.  She is survived by Nieces: Virginia DeGraff and Alice Walker, both of Concordia, Kansas; Dorothy Turner, Miltonvale, Kansas; Nephews: Harold Walker, Miltonvale, Kansas; and Don Walker, Hays, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers- Ralph, Harry, Frank, Glen, and John; 1 sister- Edna Walker; Nephew: Leland Walker; and Niece: Ruth Nobert.  Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Monday, March 10, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Burns officiating.  Visitation will be from 2PM to 9PM Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Aurora, Kansas.  The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers to Sunset Nursing Home.
