Dorothy Jacqueline Chaput, age 91, died Fri., May 29, 2015 at Brighton Gardens of Omaha, Omaha, NE.  She was born on Nov. 21, 1923 at Omaha, NE to Charles & Margaret (Iams) Shaw.

She married Aldemore N. Chaput on Aug. 29, 1944 in Kingman, AZ.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1986.  She was a homemaker

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Bleach (Richard), Omaha, NE & Kathleen Scribner (Mike), Houston, TX; sons, James Chaput , Omaha, NE & Thomas Chaput (Benita), Carlisle, IA; 5 grandchildren & one great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldemore.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tues., June 2, 2015 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia.  Family will greet friends for an hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorials to the Nebraska Humane Society, 8929 Fort St., Omaha, NE 68134.
