Dorothy M. Johnson was born June 25, 1926 in Hoxie, Kansas to August and Della Carter Lone. She died Monday, March 5, 2007 in Concordia, Kansas at the age of 80. She attended country schools and graduated from Hoxie High School. She married Larry Johnson on November 27, 1976. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1982. She worked for Boogaarts for 25 years as a computer operator and for the Cloud County Health Center for 8 years as a switchboard operator. She is survived by: her sister- Anna Townsdin and Husband Dean of Concordia, KS; 4 nieces: Kathy Worlock and husband Bill of Delphos, KS; Debbie Wilder and husband Dennis of O'Fallon, MO; Mederise Jantz of Wichita, KS; Reacil Morgan of Wichita, KS; 1 nephew: Homer Morgan and wife Barbara of Wichita, KS; a step-daughter: Julie Budreau and husband Ben of Concordia, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband- Larry, a half sister, and her parents. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 9 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family has designated memorials to the charity of the donor's choice.
