Dorothy Tatro was born December 16, 1927 in Concordia, KS to Dennis and Oleto Seals Barker. She attended school in Colorado and Concordia, KS. She married Leonard Tatro on September 28, 1946 in Concordia, KS. He survives the home. Last year they celebrated their 60th Wedding Aniversary. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. Survivors in addition to her husband, 3 sons- Jeff Tatro of Concordia, KS; Jack Tatro and wife Gerda of Jamestown, KS; and Jim Tatro of Fort Collins, CO., 1 daughter- Jolene Springer and husband Harold of Mason City, IA,; a daughter-in-law- Jean Tatro; 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter- Joyce Tatro, and son- John Tatro. Funeral services are 10:00AM Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Burns officiating. Visitation is 9AM to 9PM Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
