Edith E. Krasny, age 90, died Tues., Sept. 29, 2015 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS. She was born April 20, 1925 in Rice, KS to Albert & Gelena E. (Nanniga) Berk.

She grew up in the Huscher/Rice area. She graduated from Concordia High School. Edith worked as an office supervisor at the St. Joseph Hospital until her retirement. She married William F. Krasny on Dec. 28, 1978 at the Huscher UMC and he preceded her on Sept. 12, 1997. She was a lifelong member of the Huscher UMC where she played the piano for several years. She also belonged to the P.E.O and the Garden Club.

She is survived by her stepson, Bill Krasny, Jr., Pompano Beach, FL & stepdaughter, Barbara Dell Love, Ontario, Canada; 2 granddaughters; 4 great grandchildren; nephews, Dale Berk (Linda) Concordia & Marvin Berk (Nancy), Louisburg; nieces, Joyce McCall (John), Topeka, Phyllis Vinson, Marshalltown, IA & Loretta Hill (Bob), Hillsboro, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; brothers, Herbert & Lawrence Berk & sister, Eldora Trost.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Fri., Oct. 2, 2015 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Visitation will be from 12-9 pm with family greeting from 6-7 pm, Thurs., Oct. 1 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
