Obituary

Eoline Culley was born on September 24, 1917 in Concordia, Kansas to Shirley A. and Lucy Vignery Walden. She passed from this life on Friday, September 28, 2007 at Sunset Nursing Home, Concordia, Kansas at the age of 90. She graduated from Concordia High School. She married Ray Culley on June 12, 1937 in Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1960. She worked at the Cloud County Clerk's office and also served as the County Clerk. She retired in 1982. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Chamber of Commerce Chamber-Maids and attended Christian Women's fellowship. She taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. She is survived by her sons, John Culley and wife Linda, Concordia, KS and Charles Culley and wife Barbara, Salina, KS, a daughter, Nita Lambert and Hus. Dennis, Smith Center, KS, a brother, Shirley Walden, Jr., Concordia, KS, a sister in law, Mildred Walden, Seattle, WA, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wed., Oct. 3, 2007 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Concordia with Dennis Lambert and Pastor L. Dean Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 9 PM, Tues., Oct. 2, 2007 at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 6-8 PM. Burial will follow the services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. The family suggests memorials to Meadowlark Hospice or Trinity United Methodist Church.
