Eudyne "Dean" J. Reames, 71 years of age, of Jamestown passed away, Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas.  He was born on March 3, 1953, in Concordia, Kansas to Eudyne L. and Frances (Fulmer) Reames.

Dean was a graduate of Jamestown High School in the Class of 1971.

He was a welder for many years at Combustion Engineer, Sunflower Manufacturing, and Gerard Tank and Steel.  Dean also was the manager for the Co-Op Elevator in Jamestown for 22 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and learning.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Raela Reames, Jamestown, KS, brother, Randall Reames, Jamestown, KS; sister, Carlene Edwards (Dick), Jamestown, KS; friends, George Idorf (Kathie) Jamestown, KS; Jim Conn, Concordia, KS; his two beloved grandchildren, Kellner and Tannith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eudyne L. and Frances, his sister, Jolene Strnad.

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm Wednesday January 8th, 2025 with family recieving friends from 5-7pm. at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, Kansas.

Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia, Kansas, with Pastor Randy Whitley officiating.

A burial will follow in the Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, Kansas.
